2025 Moto Morini® Calibro 700 Bagger

1898 Alfonso Morini born in Bologna Italy, gets hired at 13 to work at a farm equipment repair shop. 1914 Just 16 years old Alfonso sets up his own shop to work exclusively on motors. He asked Morini to build a single-cylinder 125cc two-stroke racing bike—and to race it as well. The two joined forces under the brand name MM and won renown, with Morini’s MM 125 bike snatching six world records at the Monza Grand Prix of Nations Their 175cc set a world record of over 162 KPH. image.png https://www.morini-riders-club.com/Nederland/phot10.jpg 1937 Alfonso Morini asked leave MM he received twenty-four thousand lire, a box of compasses and a used motorbike, which he immediately resold. He signed an agreement not to sell any motorcycles. Alfonso started his new company Moto Morini with the intention of selling 3 wheeled trucks which were very popular in Italy with businesses due to a lower cost, easy licensing and a tax savings. World War 2 started and the Moto Morini was tasked to produce munitions and products for the Italian Army. 1943 the American Army Air Corps flattens his new factory. 1945 Alfonso Morini went back to work, set up a new factory less than 2 miles from his original wooden shop in Bologna, and put the T125, into production.
